Easy Hitchhiker achievement:
Do not ride a regular car to try and get the Hitchhiker achievement because the traffic is very bad and the cars barely move. Instead, ride a criminal’s car for a distance of five miles. It is easier and faster. Remember to knock out the people that attack you.

Defeating Michael:
When you are trying to open the boarded up windows, if you are far away from him he will do a long jump towards you. Then it takes him a few seconds to recover to attack. Before he jumps, do not stand in the yellow circles. Instead, stand next to the wall opposite the windows. He will now jump to there, recover, etc. While he is recovering, pull down the boards. When he jumps into the light, attack him. Keep doing this until his and his wife’s life runs out to complete the level.

Token collection:
While swinging through the city you might hear a chime. This indicates that you are close to a token.

Web swinging upgrades:
You can earn upgrades for this ability by using it a lot.

Traffic:
Throughout the game if you watch the traffic enough, other cars besides those of criminals will hit one another and dent up the rear of the car.

Play as pedestrian Peter Parker:
When there is a mission available for the Daily Bugle, go to it. Go inside the building and talk to Robbie. When he assigns you a project, leave the building and go back in. You will notice the nav point is now showing up from inside the building. Wait up to seven minutes inside the building. You will get a mission failed (you wasted to much time, Eddie has taken your job). You have two options, “Retry” or “Do something else”. Select “Do something else” and you should then appear on top of the Daily Bugle as Peter Parker. Walk over to the race on top of the building but do not start it. When you get the “Press A to start mission” message you will now have the ability to use A, which is punch. Walk over to the edge of the building and hold Forward and do uppercuts until Peter falls off the building. You are now Peter Parker in the city. All you can do is run around and punch or web. To exit this mode, die. When you respawn on top of the building go in the Daily Bugle and come back out. Note: This was only tested as Dark Spider-Man but should work for both forms.

General strategies:
When you see an ally fighting hand-to-hand with the enemy, help him. Sometimes they will get killed and you could end up alone.

When you finish securing an area, reload your weapon. By doing this you will have a fully loaded weapon in case you are spotted by an enemy.

Reloading a weapon can be a time-consuming process. It pays to plan your reloading time and engage in hand-to-hand combat when facing a greater enemy force. Keep mobile and be aware of your perimeter when engaging.

One of the most important concepts in warfare, the high ground offers you a better vantage point and firing position.

When you are in a stealth mission, stay out of areas with lights and the enemy cannot see you. Note: If you fire a shot they will be able to spot you.

While you are shooting your enemy, move from side to side. This will help you avoid enemy bullets.

If you cannot see the enemy because of the trees, use your crosshairs. If it turns red it means that you are aiming at an enemy. If it turns green then you are aiming at your allies.

In the battlefield you will find wagons, stone wall and baskets. Use them as cover while you are reloading or getting suppressed.

When your health is running low, crouch and use wagons and nest to cover until you see a medi-kit. Note: This only works in some missions
